Thanks dlee, at least I won't have to hunt for those wires when I put the a/c back in service next spring! I would suspect that those are the trigger wires for the compressor, I have a bit of research to do this winter on which parts I'll use for the new system, originally a VPC unit. I've been saving up lots of info and suggestions from the "Garage" prior posts. Have you seen this thread? It also has a VPC wiring diagram...
