Oh my God...... what a hard lesson. Its amazing the crap we eat and the pressures put on kids to perpetuate it.

We're mammals.
Genetics has everything to do with it. All of us are geneticly predisposed to pork out when food is available to keep us from starving when it isn't. It's only been the last 100 years or so (in this country) where food is available all the time.....an eyeblink in our evolution. Couple that with inactivity.....we ain't chasing down critters all day so's we can pork out...we get fat. Parents allow their kids to become porkchops like them unfortunates pictured, then look for someone else to blame. |
