Oh my God...... what a hard lesson. Its amazing the crap we eat and the pressures put on kids to perpetuate it.

First Mer, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I agree that you must have balance of diet & excerise to stay health. I don't think being as thin as a rail means your healthy. My best friend, in very fit shape, owns the karate school I go to. Runs, eats right, blah blah blah... yet he is on high blood pressure meds and has cholesterol "issues". My 80 yr old, smoking, 400lb plus neighbor has never been in the hospital for anything, other than being "fat" that is his only issue. Goes every year for his checkup and passes with flying colors. so what does this prove???? nothing. everyone is different. Yes, to much junk food and no excerise will make you fat (my neighbor). And one last thing, you really should see the doctor at least once a year just for a check up. Cheese puffs and beer for everyone.......
