I used search but everything I found had to do with in dash radios. I removed the heater controls and radio space to put in an array of vdo gauges. I don't have a center console.
Now that I have been successful quieting up the car I want to put in some tunes. I want to keep my glove box working so need other ideas. Either a radio....or a way to play music from my phone. |

I'm going to use one of these in my build. DROK mini amplifier.
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/c2.staticflickr.com-19709-1457362751.1.jpg) It's just an AUX-IN with a volume knob. You supply it with 12v, and run the speaker wires. Here it is on my radio delete plate next to a couple stop watches. This is an awesome find....under $15. Probably cleaner output than using bluetooth. The others I have seen have a larger panel; this is only a volume and jack. Does it work well for you? Enough power output? Have to crank Van Halen's first album; only way to listen to it is at 98db! |
