Just a quick ping since the member vendor forum doesn't get a lot of traffic.
Mods if this is out of line I apologize, please delete. I made another new t-shirt design that's more Porsche-centric instead of 914 specific, going to be submitting the print order soon, so if anyone wants to get one now's your chance. I will order a few extra, but not many. There was enough interest on the bird forum that the minimums are met. Same brand/model t-shirt as my previous shirts (excluding the Brumos shirt) American Apparel 50/50 crew neck, really very nice shirt. Color: heather black. Not too heavy and not too thin. Almost charcoal. Ink: white or very light grey, the design is done in halftones so it wont be a stark white design on the black shirt. Price is $25 shipped inside the US 48, PM me for overseas shipping quotes. The design: located front and center, large. Everyone becomes a designer and wants to pitch their 2 cents in, I appreciate constructive criticism but at this point there are enough people on board that the design is pretty much locked in. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/c1.staticflickr.com-19709-1501176863.1.jpg) close up of the halftones (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/c1.staticflickr.com-19709-1501176864.2.jpg) All proceeds are going to help the rehabilitation of a poor old 6-cylinder that needs to find it's way into my 914. Great news! Shirts came in, I'll be packaging them up and shipping them out in the coming days.
The printing turned out excellent. I had to change screen printers after trying repeatedly to get these done at the outfit that previously printed my shirts. Glad I did though, the detail is great and since the new joint is local I was able to be there for a press check before they ran the entire set. Detail is far better than my previous shirts so I think I found a new printer for future orders. I did have to change shirt brand from American Apparel to Next Level as part of the switch. The shirt fabric and fit are similar enough that it shouldn't be an issue, instead of a 50/50 it's a 60/40. Added bonus that all sizes and styles (vee and crew, XS youth through 3XL) are all the same material and color. Sneak peak here, I'll upload a full photo as soon as I can find someone to model it.
