My driver's side sun visor has a habit of working itself loose from the outside (left) mount.
I've remounted it several times, making sure the pin in set all the way into the mounts on both sides (and the square post properly oriented). But, if I tighten the screw holding the pin in tight enough to prevent the visor from drooping, moving the visor up and down sloooowly works the pin out of its mooring. Anyone else had this problem and has found a fix? Thanks, Tom |

yup - that's what I've been doing. It takes a while (a few weeks) but eventually the pin works itself out and the visor falls in my lap.
It seems to me that the pin is "walking" it's way back into the visor, largely because the square end in the mount causes the pin to spin in the visor. I wonder if rounding out the mount socket would help...? |
