I found this pic a while back and fell in love with the car. As I dream and plan about the car I'm having PMB do when its my turn in line, I think about what a flared 914 would look like in this color. Does anyone know what the color code is? What its name is? TIA, -sean |

They don’t want copycats or at least they aren’t going to hand over the recipe for the secret sauce. |

"exclusivity" as in: Hey, look at my car, i just paid $500k for it and guess what, i won't tell you what color it is! But please, come over here and *look* at it, because i paid so much money for it just to show it off, you know epeen and all that. But no, even after you *looked* it all over closely, you still can't know what color it is, it "exclusive" and "secret". I paid for that, you know? That really makes sense to you? When I worked at salliemae, we couldn't disclose how the loans were considered. All we could say was it is a proprietary formula. It pissed people off but it was the company's secret sauce. It didn't have to make sense, it just was. |

It didn't have to make sense, it just was. That is apples and oranges ... The moment you take your car out of the garage people can *see* the color. It's *visible*. In fact, they *want* it to be visible. The damn thing is fricking puke green. so next time it's out in the open, someone please take a better picture and have your local paint shop match it to sample.
