For those of you with an interest in this car, Brutus the prototype 916 and Corina Porsche's personal car, it will be featured in the RM auction in Paris, Feb 2019

For those of you with an interest in this car, Brutus the prototype 916 and Corina Porsche's personal car, it will be featured in the RM auction in Paris, Feb 2019 https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/pa19 The 916 is the rarest production Porsche ever made, and this one the prototype of the prototype, fitted with a 2.9 RS engine, and personally owned by a member of the Porsche family. What else could make it more valuable? I can't argue with the provenance of Brutus but I would ask the question how do you know that this car is the "prototype of the prototype" How do know that there aren't other cars out there that are factory built steel roof cars? |
