this is interesting..
"his 914-6GT started life as a factory 914-6 and was converted to race car specs. It can not be regestered and driven as a regular street car in it's present condition because it's set up to race. there is a huge old thread on this car but I believe 1/2 of it is a 914-4 and 1/2 of it is a 914-6. the dealer who has it now got ripped off and the car was exposed for what it is. now the dealer, many months later, has it listed 50% off and is saying the salvage title is because of "race prep" instead of it being two different cars.
