I've baught recently a 2.0 Porsche 914.
My car is an amarican one and the papers are 76/01/01 Is it a 75 or 76 model year I don't know The paint color seems to be sun yellow. The seats have a beige leatherette. which is the color of the floor mats? Code?  |

if build date is Jan 01 1976 its a '76, all '76 cars had 2.0 and appearance group like you have with the center console etc.
nice color combonation! |

Are we sure ALL 76's had the console? Mine doesn't and there is no evidence that I can find that it ever had one (looks like original carpet but mounting holes etc. are not evident). The optional equipment listed on the PPS are US equipment, tinted side glass, seat cushions. Is US equipment the appearance group? I guess it could have been removed; the combo gauge is an incorrect early silver dot. |
