Boxter - 914, Boxster Transaxle swap Options

I am adapting a G87 trans from a Boxster/Cayman S to an air cooled engine (from a 993 but with 964 inlet manifolds to fit under the engine lid).

I will use a flywheel from Kennedy Engineered Products and found that the adapter plate must be 20mm thick.

I started by printing a 1/1 scale drawing of the G86 Porsche/Audi bellhousing bolt pattern available at https://grabcad.com/library/01e-audi-transm...-bolt-pattern-1

1) I noticed that the above mentioned drawing does not include one fixing hole which I will use with the G87 trans . I will mark this hole and drill it when I get the adapter plate and check the mating of the trans to the engine. I will then update my CAD file.

2) These drawings still do not present the cutout and fixing for the hightorque starter. I will post the final drawings when I complete that detail.

3) I did not consider the cutout for the DME sensor because I am not using it . I am running the engine with a programmable Engine Management System (with wasted spark : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasted_spark ). I am not going to add the detail for the DME sensor to my drawings and CAD file, but that is presented by Clay Perrine at http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...204.0&st=80 (see Post #91).
