A few years ago I started an annual Christmas Intro on another 914 site.
Seems like it would fit nicely in here too. Just introduce yourself. Tell the rest of us a little about you and your family, your 914. Mike Cooley aka Cooltimes, MikeCool I am a 914 addict or just plain old 914 nut from Memphis TN Married to "Red" since 1961 We have 1 son, Mike Jr also a 914 person for life 2 Grandsons, Paul and Tony Pet is Katie cat I have owned lots of 914's, around 30, since 1970. My latest, a 1975 914 1.8 fuel injected, was a gift from another 914 group on Rennlist. Merry Christmas, Happy holidays or whatever. MikeCool |

My name is Carl. I've been hooked on Porsches for a long time but my interest in 914's came accidentally five or six years ago. It's quite contagious because Meredith, whom some of you know on this site, caught the affliction from me. I do come by the interest honestly, however. My father has a 993, brother has a '72 911S, brother-in-law has an '82 911 SC, sister has a '00 Boxster and I've got an '89 911 as a stablemate to the '70 914-6. It's all in fun. I have a wife (Kathy) and two other children (Karyn and Noel) who have little or no interest in P cars. The 914, to them, is either a curiosity or a handicap, whichever is worse. Meredith gets it. The car, this site and you folks are interests that we share and I'm grateful for all of it. This has been a fun way to learn about the cars, to get to know you, to enjoy events like the WCC and to have fun with my kid. Who could ask for more? Thanks and Happy Holidays.
