A few years ago I started an annual Christmas Intro on another 914 site.
Seems like it would fit nicely in here too. Just introduce yourself. Tell the rest of us a little about you and your family, your 914. Mike Cooley aka Cooltimes, MikeCool I am a 914 addict or just plain old 914 nut from Memphis TN Married to "Red" since 1961 We have 1 son, Mike Jr also a 914 person for life 2 Grandsons, Paul and Tony Pet is Katie cat I have owned lots of 914's, around 30, since 1970. My latest, a 1975 914 1.8 fuel injected, was a gift from another 914 group on Rennlist. Merry Christmas, Happy holidays or whatever. MikeCool |

Joe O'Brien (914RS). I'll never forget the first time I saw a 914. I was about 13 and told my mom 'when I grow up, I'll have one of those'. She responded with 'that's the ugliest car Porsche ever made'. Well, that sealed my fate. I was a 914 guy from that moment onward.
914RS is my fourth 914 and my first six. I drove #4 for about three years before I found the 3.6. Then I decided that the car had to deserve the engine. Hence the scope of the project it then became. I am 35, my wife is 23. We have two dogs and no children. I'm a Lear 35 pilot and cars are the hobby I pursue (although I launch high-power rockets on the side, nerdy, yes, but a lot of fun).
