A few years ago I started an annual Christmas Intro on another 914 site.
Seems like it would fit nicely in here too. Just introduce yourself. Tell the rest of us a little about you and your family, your 914. Mike Cooley aka Cooltimes, MikeCool I am a 914 addict or just plain old 914 nut from Memphis TN Married to "Red" since 1961 We have 1 son, Mike Jr also a 914 person for life 2 Grandsons, Paul and Tony Pet is Katie cat I have owned lots of 914's, around 30, since 1970. My latest, a 1975 914 1.8 fuel injected, was a gift from another 914 group on Rennlist. Merry Christmas, Happy holidays or whatever. MikeCool |

six not four ,comes from when I bought my first 914-6 in 1978 I was 18 , my mom thought I should have bought the black LE 914-4 2.0. Since I had turbo corvairs since I was 16 , and always wanting a Porsche, I told her I wanted the Six not the Four. (same price in those days) 22year tool maker, left to machine/build 911 engines , 3 year vintage race effort . maint/fab/support of corvette/ferrari/porsche. meanwhile building my home hobby machine/fab shop. Many years later and many P cars. I still like my 914's Best. Over the years I have done alot of other things Hobby wise but have always kept my porsches. I saw this page a few years ago didnt have the time to keep up with it or my own projects. Since I have made time and enjoy it very much. Thanks to all the People who keep the 914 alive and well.
