A few years ago I started an annual Christmas Intro on another 914 site.
Seems like it would fit nicely in here too.
Just introduce yourself. Tell the rest of us a little about you and your family, your 914.

I have owned lots of 914's, around 30, since 1970.
My latest, a 1975 914 1.8 fuel injected, was a gift from another 914 group on Rennlist.

I’m a long time car fanatic. Married my wife Becky after I talked her into buying a 71 914 1.7 to replace her 64.5 Mustang. We drove that until Andrew came along, because it wouldn’t fit all of us. I Project Manage large computer network installs. I’m lucky so far to work mostly from home. Becky is a stay-at-home wife and so far we’ve got along fine spending most of our day with each other. We must really love each other. I don’t actually own a teener, but according to the state of California, I have part ownership in Andrews. Andyrew is my now 18 year old son who was infected with the car bug from me. He owns a 73 that started out as a 1.8 moved to a 2.0 and ended up with a 5.7. My hot rod is an 86 944 Turbo that is ‘tuned’ for track and autocross. It’s clone is all stock that I (and now Andrew) use for driving around town. We’re currently embarking on a Garage and Laundry room addition to the house. We’ll add an inside laundry to appease the women in the family and a second 2 car garage so that my turbos don’t have to spend their nights out in the cold.

The other member of our family is Rosie. She is a 14 year old Dachshund. She runs the house with Becky as a close second. She will soon find out that the window seat in the laundry room will allow her to sit and watch the people go by while she barks her head off. God has blessed us greatly with friends and family that care and we want to wish everyone the best during this Christmas season. A special thanks to everyone who has helped us thru the rough times with Andrews car. Also for the many ‘gifts’ and parts sales that made the job affordable for Andrew.
