My tires are about 10 yrs old. Is it time for a change? Currently running 185/70s sprint classics. How about these as a replacement?

After that, in high temp highway situations, the can delaminate and cause a ton of body, fender damage as they just seem to fall apart at speed. One time, my FIL…i trailered his old Volvo home….it was not cheap or pretty to fix. My motto, tires are cheaper than bodywork. I just replaced some old tires on my 911 and the guy at the local shop argued the old ones are perfectly good. I told him go ahead…they are free. Rich |
