I recently got a Quickjack 7000 TLX. I need the long X model to reach the jack points on my other vehicles. But I have failed to lift the 914.
My first attempt had the Quickjacks in the "official" positions, i.e. with the lower base pivots forward. Note this is not what I consider safe for 911s and probably for 914s, since the car center of gravity can end up outside (behind) the end of the lower base. Attached thumbnail(s)

Another way to look for scam websites is to check the website domain registration (whois.com). The garags.com is beyond suspicious. Registered two months ago in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Really sounds legit don't it? Don't even risk your email address on this site. I was suckered on a scam website for Puma shoes - very well done scam site. Caught it fast enough so they only managed a small test amount before the bank cancelled the card and reversed the charge.  |
