The mechanism I built is for a subaru transmission (which has the shift rod at the rear of the tranny). It looks very similar to the one sold by Zero Decibel Motorsports (only theirs is prettier).

Here's one thread on the topic: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=198714 By the way, I have two brand-new 6-foot long push-pull cables that I will sell to you for half of what they cost new. They were too short for my subaru transmission, but they might be just right for the side-shift location on the 914 tranny. Hope this helps! |
