Something doesn't add up.
The listing says it was in storage until 2011, and unrestored until 2013. But there's a sighting at CarParc where it was under restoration in 2010. CarParc selling it to a European buyer seems to align, but what happened between 2010 and 2013, when the listing says it was imported to Germany? What year was it stolen from "Ed"? Was it prior to 2010, despite Dr's first post about it being in 2023? Initial sale in Virginia and Ed being a customer of Dr914 (Georgia) would have the car on the East Coast; when/how did it get to CarParc in California? Edit: I see now Ed's photos have California plates, so ignore this one. Or is this a stolen VIN situation where a Signal Orange /6 was built in Europe using a known real /6 VIN from a theft in the USA? |
