I haven't removed my rockers since I got my car back in Aug 03. Ok I know, Iknow (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/slap.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/alfred.gif) I do run the hose behind there every week or two. So this is what I found when I removed my rockers. Here is my small but nice ppile of dirt & rust (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Uh related to the resto jack plates, depending who you get them from not always do they come with the drain (read rust!) holes.
If I were doing that ...and I am, Id weld those shut so NO water gets in behind the plate once welded. |
