I am thinking about converting the 2.0 to a six with HP in the low 200s, but before I go on with the conversion, how fast will the car be, what other cars can it beat, 0-60 times.

I don't know if any of this is accurate but I lifted it from a different post.
------------------------------ stock 914 2.0: 0 - 60: 9.5 sec 1/4 mile: 17.2 @ 84 mph 40-60 in 5th: 9.6 sec 2270 B engines (153 hp in the dyno run posted): 0 - 60: 5.8 sec 1/4 mile: 14.1 @ 101 mph 40-60 in 5th: 5.8 sec At this point (14 flat) your running with any stock Mustang Cobra and Camaro SS, and plainly outhandling them too. At least you can keep up with a '92 twin turbo RX7 in a straight line. a 165 hp 2.4 E (six) gives the following: 0 - 60: 5.2 sec 1/4 mile: 14.0 @ 104.2 mph 40 - 60 in 5th: 7.1 sec The quick time to 60 is due in large part to hitting 60 in 2nd instead of 3rd gear. 1/4 mile time is about the same as the 2270, even with the extra weight of the six conversion. The 40 - 60 number shows the 911 engine's low-rpm softness. A 190 hp 2.7: 0 - 60: 4.6 sec 1/4 mile: 13.3 @ 109.2 mph 40 - 60 in 5th: 6.1 sec Yeehaa!! You're now in '97 Vette and 98 NSX territory. 210 hp 2.7: 0 - 60: still 4.6 sec 1/4 mile: 12.8 @ 113.5 mph 40 - 60 in 5th: 5.0 sec A tick quicker than a '97 Lotus Esprit V8 and the '99 Diablo VT Roadster. 210 hp carb'd 3.0 liter: 0 - 60: 4.9 sec 1/4 mile: 13.1 @ 112.4 mph 40 - 60 in 5th: 5.4 sec 224 hp 3.2: 0 - 60: 4.6 sec 1/4 mile: 12.8 @ 115.3 mph 40 - 60 in 5th: 5.0 sec 249 hp worked 3.2: 0 - 60: 4.1 sec 1/4 mile: 12.2 @ 119.3 mph 40 - 60 in 5th: 4.2 sec |
