I am just starting my tool collection and want to hear what tools you think are a must have for a newbie like myself that wants to work on his 914...

My two most necessary tools, the serrated/triple square/12 point 8mm socket for the axles and a set of GearWrenches (ratcheting box end). I prefer the double box end gear wrenches because you should already have a set of standard open end/box end wrenches and who needs a duplicate set of open end wrenches?
