Well, I am at the point of reinstalling the horns, etc. When the horns were removed I noticed the remnants of what appeared to be a rubber washer/gasket behind the mounting tab. Anyone know what these parts might be? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)

I found a fairly intact washer in my hardware stash. The original size is about 3/32" thick and about 1 3/16" in diameter. I found 5/16" x 1 1/4" x 1/16" rubber washers at Lowes -pretty close in size except for the thickness, so i used 2 on each horn.
Even found a pic of the horns and hardware. Attached image(s) |
