Out comes the tranny. WEVO shift parts are on the way.
I can't believe how dirty it is back there from the 2000 mile WCC trip. I'll have to get in there with some soap and a brush. Attached image(s)

I wish you better luck with your Wevo conversion than I've had with mine!
The Wevo parts look good and it'll probably work OK, but it took 15 months and 6000 bucks to have the mods done. Also, I had an oiling sysem (pump, cooler, spray bars) and was ensured this would be maintained. Unfortunately when I finally got my trans the oiling system was removed (thanks alot!). I paid extra for my 915 because it had the cooling mods, now I have useless spare parts and a hole to fill before I can even put oil in it. I was also told that the deal included the shift coupler and shift rod and somehow they didn't make into the box either. Sorry for the rant.......but it's very discouraging to finally build your dream 914, extend yourself doing it, trying to do everything right and unfortunately trusting a "914 guru" to be honest and provide a professional service only to be dissed on schedule, price, promises and parts. I only hope the tranny actually works! I've had an expensive lesson in the "Emperor's Clothes".
