It has been a busy couple of months, but it is all official now. I am moving to Oregon!
I got a transfer approved for my job and took my family to OR this weekend and bought our first house. It doesn't have the 3 car garage that I really wanted, but it is close in my job and has everything that will keep the wife happy! All of this has been motivated by the ridiculous housing prices in the Bay Area (median is now $705,000) and the enviroment (i.e. schools) that my newborn son will be growing up in. We are very excited. Now for the 914 content... 1. I will be in the Portland area for the WCC 2006!! 2. On my drive back home on Sunday, I saw two very clean looking yellow 914's and one orange one with chrome side door trim traveling Northbound between Eugene and Portland. So, who in the Bay Area wants to help me move? I will be getting a large Rental Truck the last week in Sept. and two car trailers (one for the teener and one for the '69 912). Anyone up in the Portland area wanna help my upload? -Britain |
