I used about 20 cans of brake cleaner....place a ton of newspaper underneath the heads or motor and tranny...the brake fluid eventually evaporates and then you can throw out the paper without making a mess of your garage floor....I bought it by the can because I did not realize that I was going to be going through so much...I would have bought it by the case if I had known...also use a small nylon brush for the stubborn areas.
