Slugmika (mika) is coming in from finland, and Xitspd would like to get a dinner going.
How does this sound? Post if you can make it. |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) One of Koskenkorva's derivatives is Salmiakki Koskenkorva, or "Salmiakki Kossu" or "Salmari" made by dissolving strong salted licorice into the clear liquor, pleasantly disguising the raw alcohol flavor. The history of this drink is short but colorful. It was introduced in the early 1990's and became a huge success. It was later prohibited by a Christian minister, but the prohibition was appealed in 1995. This dangerously sweet black drink is popular not only among Finns, but also foreigners. Salmiakki Kossu is still the number 1 drink in many pubs and night clubs in Finland.
Oh Yeah! Salmiakki Kossu...................... |
