Ok, so I'm NOT sticking to it.
I went out and grabbed some parts. In the pedal cluster bronze bushing kit are two small bushings used for the throttle belcrank at the pedal cluster. These two bushings are almost the same size as the headlight pivot bushings. The ID fits on the pivot shaft, but the OD is too large for the tube. The 911/914 rear belcrank bushings are a different size. They are close but not exactly the same size as the headlight crank arm bushings. I tried some and the rear 911/914 belcrank bushings are a loose fit on the crank arm shafts on the headlights. I couldn't quickly locate a crank arm so I didn't try that fit. Sorry for the confusion. So what I was saying was WRONG. I deeply apologize, and will be quiet now. You may be able to measure the bushings and get bronze bushings through a bearing supplier. We used to order oddball bushings from Bronze Headquarters. Sorry again for my misinformation. |
