Not sure if its the weather, lack of progress, knowing my 914 will never be how I really want it or my boarder-line A.D.D. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)
But it's been really, really hard not just post an ad on here or on craigslist and sell it all off......I think a lot of it has to do with me having so much extra cr@p such as about 10 extra pairs of a-arms (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif) as well as most people have all the other "extras" laying around collecting dust and filling up boxes. I know I'd take a hit money wise on dumping it all off, but what the heck, it's not like my 914 is going to go up in value (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) |

I'm luckier than some, I think.
The 914 is in the shop & if it pisses me off, I don't have to stumble over it all the time. It's been pretty grim on a few occasions. Up on blocks for nearly a year when I was doing the conversion....in my garage, pre shop... & when I was painting it last year come to mind. My family laughs at me when I have 3-4 projects in the air at once, but they seem to forget I do (eventually) get em' done. As I've said before, being stubborn helps. The 914 is the same. The luck part is when I fix the car( tho it ain't broke), it stays fixed till it ain't broke again . (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) It's a seasonal thing, the leaves fall off the trees & the shit box goes up on blocks. The leaves come out in the spring & so does the car. DIY is fun, but some reward is required....for me at least. |
