I was told that an old out of date harness can be re-webbed. I have a nice cam-loc 5 point dated nov 95. Is there anyone in the 914 collective that has done this or had it done?

Best thing to do is to call the manufacturer. They are the only one that will re-web a set of belts. I asked my local race shop not long ago and he said it was usually around $100. That plus shipping makes re-webbing a latch system not worth it. But with a cam lock system, like you have, it is worth it.
As for re webbed belts not being leagl…double check your GCR for regulations on belts. But since the service is offered, and it is the webbing that wears out, I don’t think your club will have a problem with the belts. Chris |
