I don't have girls, but I have two boys and one girlfriend living here. Heres the rules, NO tats, or Piercing or anything like it under my roof period. This is not negociable! By this time kids move out these days they are usually past the fad.
My 16 year old son has had the same girl friend for about a year. she had her lip peirced. The first time it didn't work out, she waited a month and want back and had it done again.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif) Hey, She's 18 and out of school, still lives with her parents. Soooo... That's for her parents to deal with. I'm sure my youngest will get a Tat or 10 when he moves out. He a musician type. I just hope he doesn't turn out to look like that drummer on Meet the Barkers! Look at ME! Look at ME! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif) Bunch of meaningless tats for the sake of getting then. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/jerkit.gif) In response to your thread title; Be a Dad Not a Buddy. Tats and Piercings are life course altering. When your daughter is 24 and out of collage with the tools to pursue a successful professional life, then see if she still wants to get the tongue thing done. Let the flames begin. |
