OT: thieves stole my stuff! Options

I was out for a few hours today and they came and took my welder and on the way out they snaked my mechanic hand tool box from under my car trailer.

The welder was a nice Lincoln wire feed and my tool box was full of mostly Craftsman wrenches. About 50#'s worth. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)

They got me for about $1300 worth of my stuff.

I'm upset by this, but not raging.
I'll be honest, I have a feeling like someone kicked me in the nutz. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif)

I wonder if they were lured by my 914 on the trailer?
They could have hooked up and drove away except I had a wheel off to size up a spare.

Now I have to live with all the locks and worries that I have been free from for the past 15 years.

Sheriff is here lifting prints and taking a report.

The losers tried to get in the house, too.


The day is coming when ALL thieves will be killed by God himself.

that is kind of a trip to me - I had painted all of my tools a translucent dark green color when I was going to school to be a mechanic. Fellow classmates would steal your tools all the time and you couldn't pin them down because everybody had craftsman. So I painted all of my wrenches green and my teacher couldn't figure out why - told him I did so because if I ever saw a green wrench going across the shop, they would get another much larger green wrench upside the head. Never had another one stolen at school. Sorry to hear about your stuff getting taken though. It is just the worst feeling, BTDT as stated. Good luck with the home owners insurance!
