Re: vins - dje is correct. I don't recall the change over, but the early cars started wtih 930.
Re: insurance - I'll have to dig, but I don't think my insurance is that much. It's an old car after all. It probably is more than a 76 911 tho. Re: 930 flares on a teener - never seen one done. Seen SC flares tho. Looked ok. I believe dug (I've seen him on roadglue) has a /6 with SC flares on it. Actually, saw an orig 934 up close -- it needed wider flares than stock. Pic attached. kim.
