My 1974 914 has suddenly developed a strange problem that is annoying the heck out of me: I am driving along minding my own business when suddenly out the of the blue my wipers swipe one time and then park. I never know when it is going to happen and I know that my wipers are turned off. What in the world could be the problem?

My 1974 914 has suddenly developed a strange problem that is annoying the heck out of me: I am driving along minding my own business when suddenly out the of the blue my wipers swipe one time and then park. I never know when it is going to happen and I know that my wipers are turned off. What in the world could be the problem? There is a short in the wiper switch on the steering column. |
