Anyone running 9x16 (930 Fuchs) rears with flares?
Did you have to install a spacer on the rear hub? If so, why? Thanks. |

I have Steel GT flares on my 914. My street wheels are 15 by 7 & 8 Fuchs with 225/50/15 at all 4 corners. I run 1-in spacers up front and 1/4-in on the rear.
My track wheels (Borbet) are 16 by 8 & 9 with 225/50/16 front and 245/45/16 rear. I keep the 1-in spacers up front and use no spacers in the rear. I had to trim the inner lip of the rear flares for adequate clearance. But they fit fine. Ed |
