I want to eventually get a 911. Not sure what the best and most desirable ones are. My budget is 10K if I keep my daily driver or 15k if I sell my daily driver.

I'd say, the newer the better...but the problem is price goes up as you get the late model stuff. Also not too many people parting out the newer guys as well.
