I was looking around craigslist last night and saw that someone was having a garage sale today and they had a 914 for sale. I decided to stop by and take a look. It was cool looking (of coarse- its a 914). The lady didn't know a whole lot about it.
I thought that it was somewhat interesting because of the paint scheme. It looks kind of like a reverse bumblebee. The car was clearly repainted at some point and I figured that the person just tried to make it look like a L.E. I was wondering if Porsche had a factory option in 74 that gave the car a similar paint scheme as the L.E. models. This car yellow, yellow bumpers, yellow pedrinis, 2.0l. the sails are black but it was painted black. What does everyone think- just a look a like? I told the lady that I would post it on here to see if we could get the car a nice home. I posted it in the classified section. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=110357 Here is a pic however there are more on the above link. Also, could someone please enter the vin into the database. I searched and it wasn't listed. 4742914665 Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() ![]() |
