Got the trigger points from Britt tonight when I came home from work.
Pulled the distributor. MAJOR problems. Dist is shit. You name it, it has it. Excessive shaft play. Braided advance plate wire was ( yes I said was) barely hanging on. It broke at the slightest wiggle. Trigger points look questionable (Britt sent me two sets that look better). Advance pot loose as shit. You name it. Sorry Guys... I am sooo bummed... beyond belief. I was looking forward to a couple of days away from work etc. I'm just pissed right now that I did not pull this earlier and order one. I thought about it a few weeks ago when trying to diagnose the running rich condition but kept running in other directions. I think I will go drown my sorrows now.
