(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Driving mine on sunny days only here in the PNW.

Currently, final prep for paint... Then, for sale (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I will make an ad soon but, the more work I do the price goes up. If interested now, please PM for details until ad goes up.

Attached Image Bought with most all of the heavy lifting done, not a daily driver, but definitely a fast driver.

Been driving mine pretty much daily for the last 3 1/2 years. Running an WRX 2.0 turbo with the 901 trans. Also did a cable shift for the tail shifter while I was at it.
Been running the Georgia mountains at least twice a month with it, no problems.

Only issue was wiring the original ECU from scratch and trying to figure out the
JDM wiring diagrams. Spent more time on the wiring than the actual install. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Oh yeah, also hitting a possum which rolled up under it. Took a while to get that smell off the coolent hoses. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) That rumor has been around for a couple of years! Raise your prices if you need more time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) If I ever get the time or skills to do a decent search I'll go thru the Suby Archives. Wouldn't be surprised if there are 50+ out there. Thx for the responses. And trash that "Stock" License Plate Frame, Jonathan. Why give them a hint? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) I love that stock look. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

I mentioned having met someone from Fresno who'd done several conversions. Just found the name, it's Brodie and his shop is www.914sgonewild.com. Nice guy and from what I saw really nice work.

Stupid request, I know, but it will calm me down for a few minutes anyway. So if you have a Suby powered 914, shout it out. 20-30 maybe 50 existing conversions??? Also, what was your role? Check writer or builder? How much do you have in yours? Regrets, concerns or something you would have done differently?

I just found this link, I have a 1975 with a JDM subaru 2.0 twin turbo. This was done by a very cool guy down in Texas, all I did was purchase it. When he was building it he called it Dirty Penny.

Cool! Yep we know Dirty Penny. There's a build thread somewhere I think.

Cool, you bought Novak's car. We know her and thanks for adding yours to the thread. Must feel like an afterburner when those twins kick in! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/new_shocked.gif)

If you're looking for a headcount, I see fiid at least once a month, and he still has his EJ20DETT conversion. In fact I was his co-driver in that car this past September for the California Melee.

Here's us in the car: flickr. Fiid's wearing the white hat, I'm in the green 914 shirt.

I've driven mine on the cul de sac, but it's far from a driver. I'm using an EJ22 turbo engine and Suby trans. All built by me in my garage using my own mounts. Never ending but fun projects (6 years in April!).

I talked with Brody a few years ago. He has been at it a while & his conversions looked good 3 years ago. I am sure he has refined them even more now. I'd definitely hit up his shop if I was anywhere close. Was very cool on the phone & excited to hear from another guy doing a conversion. I was just looking into it then as I had picked up a Suby setup for a nice 74 I had. Ironically it was the setup Dean was going to use on my car. Before finding a deal on a nice built motor
