Hah ... I told you I don't trust /6s after my last experience ... anyway ..

I plan on leaving Riverslime about 3 PM at the latest on Thur Sep 9th. Plan is to make Mesquite, NV sometime that nite. I have a room booked at the Virgin River Resort ( $25.00 + tax greed) to break the trip to Moab. Mileage is 319 miles

Plan on departing Mesquite about 7 AM on the 10th (after breakfast) to make Moab (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif) about 2 - 3 PM in the afternoon. Mileage is 378 miles.

I only stop to pee and get gas. If someone is whining, I may stop for a quick fast food snack ... none of those leisurely hour lunches for me.

If you want to join me ... bring a rope to tow me as /6s are really unreliable.

Well Eric .... since you live in the "Land of The Glowing Desert", you will never live to see beach front property.

We're so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) light out here, we'll never sink!

Don't need a /6 - I did 126 mph (downhill) on I-15 through the Virgin River Gorge at midnight-ish in my 73 914-2.0 one Sept. back in the day, on my way to a Rugby Tournament in Park City! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

Yeppers .........

Could also form up anywhere on I-15.

I did 126 in my 4, but the six will do that going UPHILL .... easily (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I have another 4 but it is not "Prime Time Ready" as yet.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_bump.gif) Time to bring this back to the front of the line. Just in case there are any new attendee's from the SoCal area. It would be neat if we could connect w/ the AZ coalition and arrive Moab as a large flight of 914's. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Thanks for finding it .... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)

Choices of meeting places @ this point:

1.) The Shop

2.) Silverwood cutoff on I15

3.) Marie Calendars in Victorville

4.) Mesquite, NV

It's kinda nice on a 700 mile trek to have a few within cell range. There is usually a problem somewhere that requires attention. Hopefully not though.

Oh, Didn't look at an alternate route to try & meet the AZ peeps. If it has anything to do with going near Torrey, UT .... I ain't doing that road again out of Hurricane and into the wilderness ......

/L is going, but don't know when she is leaving. Joe & Betsy will be rolling too, but can't remember what Joe told me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Rique & SO want to run together or just meet in Mesquite.

I will be leaving the Shop no later than 3 PM (hopefully 2:30) on Thursday. Cell is (951) Seven Five One Three Five Eight Four. If another number pops up, I may have it forwarded to my other cell.

That's my part other than "Oh Sacred Gods of Porsche ... Get me there and back ... " (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

As far as meeting up with AZ peeps, I haven't looked at an alternative route. If it has anything to do with going thru Hurricane, the one mile tunnel and anywhere near Torrey, UT ..... count me out

RiqueMar wants to join up w/ us. He's coming thru here noonish then it's to Kansas to join up w/ you and whomever. So..............we should roll in there by 1pm and if you wanted to leave earlier, it's OK, too.

Well if you are coming across I-40, through Flagstaff, Mike & I will be leaving Friday morning. Our route takes us to Tuba City, Kayenta, Monument Valley, then North to Moab.

Would be glad to meet with you guys. You would have to go through Flagstaff then up from there. I would think that adds to your drive. However, iffin you decide to do so, we are leaving Thursday going up through Flagstaff and staying Thursday night in Kayenta. We'll leave there Friday morning. Hopefully Ernie and Mike get out of Flagstaff early and head up with us! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
