Show us the head also. I'm betting there was some serious carnage when the piston smacked the head a few times..
Has Porsche Motorsports released parts to you guy's for the rebuild ?? B |

Brad, this one was just refreshed..with parts from Porsche Motorsports...
oh the case is toast, the rod windmilled and cut through the main oil passage.... the oil tanks gonna get a nice ultrasonic bath... Ive never seen a crank break like this..Ive seen the two piece failure before, not three pieces LOL |

oh the car drove part of a lap on 5 cylinders LOL..
cant read the bearings at all.. who know what kind of forces the engine saw AFTER the break while it was still running... Paul I think crate motors from Porsche Motorsports are like $85000.... rebuilding this will be pretty damn close to that |

Freshens are upwards of 45k depending on if it arrives at their door in a running condition or not.

JP, no the rod cap was just posed like that, the crank broke on either side o the piece pictured, also the counterweight broke off (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
