is that 8”s on the rear? i have 7’s with 205/55-16” and even with the rear fenders worked and stretched and lips rolled , i am probably out a full 1” more than stock, i don’t think i could get 8’s in there and the inside is tight so even if the 8’s have the back space i would expect it wouldn’t fit so i’m wondering what wheels are you running and how much work was done to get the 8’s to fit?

We took Elwood to Cars and Coffee yesterday morning. Spent some time after that with some friends BSing in the garage, then @scottthephotog came over. We put his car up on the lift, and replaced the shift linkage bushings and put new front and rear brake pads in it.

These are the rear pads we took out...

I think it needed them.

Working on the Cold Air Intake. The plenum floor with scoop.

Needs a ceiling and 3 walls. I'm thinking plexiglass ceiling on the bottom of the engine grill and seal from the walls like the trunk seals. I have a spot welder on order, that should the assembly a breeze.

Ben, PM sent.

Just in case anyone else is in PCA's First Settlers Region (FSR) and wasn't aware, the Fun Run is set for morning of April 17th, with a possible repeat in afternoon of April 18th. Total route is about 70 miles long, running mostly back roads from Windsor to Smithfield VA.

Events are usually announced in the FSR magazine and on the FSR facebook page (https://fsrpca.motorsportreg.com). Registration is via motorsportreg.com.

It looks like the vintage group is still open for the 17th, but it's maxed out for newer cars. As I said, there may be a re-do on 18th PM.

Hope this helps!

Drove the 75 Palma 2.0/4 about 200 miles round trip, runs great after the restoration. Went to see our 67 Nova Wagon, been working on it for too many years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm running 16X7s on the car with 205/55-16 Continentals. The fender lips have been rolled and stretched as far as I dare. The driver's side is very tight and will scuff the sidewall with aggressive driving.

Another 70-80 miles this afternoon.

Dog is my copilot.

Still not sure whether he loves to ride, or just hates being left behind. I need to get him some goggles though.

A couple of days ago...in between our typical Oregon rain showers...

145 mile round trip between Beaverton and Falls City. Falls City is a little town with a beautiful waterfall and buildings right out of the middle of the last century. Fun drive and some great roads, then today, washed the teener.

Many hours later and lots of elbow grease. Relay boards are cleaned, tested and ready to pour. Cores took a lot of work this go round.
