Mark,

I'm in for the snorkel and some alternator grommets, as well as the truck drain tubes.

Geez, I can't keep up with you!

Any chance for the early rain tray in the near future?

Does the silicone more stretch than the original? I'm in on the group buy, and I appreciate Mark making these, but I sure to think that a split style is still the way to go. I want to see the 1st guy that pulls all the wires (with connectors) through one of these.

The silicone will stretch more, the idea is that it's better to not have to worry if the integrity of the glue or seam is compromised.

If you had a condom that was too small, would you prefer it to stretch more, or would you like to glue it?

+1 ... I agree on the split style. I was thinking of buying an extra one then try and split it, then glue it back together. If that works it will be great, if not then it will be as good as the torn one I have now ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

The only ones that would have to be glued together are the ones that would be longer. The idea would be to use the center section from one to extend the legnth. It would be slathered in glue and rolled over the end pieces. It just will not pencil out to make the tooling in 2 diferent versions.

Just a follow up. The tooling is almost complete. I hope to have the fist sample part in about 10 days.

Yes, it's still open.

I started this some time ago, and it's taken longer than planned, but it will be in production pending the 1st part is acceptable shortly.

A great part to have if you need one. I was tapped to make these awhile ago, and there looked like there was some interest in doing these. I plan to make them from silicone of a soft enough durometer to allow them to stretch easily. The flanges will be slightly larger to allow for a tighter fit. So there will be some improvements, but look pretty stock. They should be easier to install than stock. I try to make most of my stuff as close to factory as possible where it makes sense, and I think factory had it right as one piece.

In for 2.

Just completed the 1st sample part. Kind of a pain to check fit, but I will be able to do so next week. Pending the fit check, these will go into production.

Also added some other items into the group buy arena so that they can be combined and save on shipping, so check those out, you may want to add.
