banggood.com, sounds like a porno store (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) whats a good length for them, the brake light strip that is (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Is it coming from slow boat from china ? Can anyone vouch for the quality. I am willing to spend a few more $$, but if this one is good enough ?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

you get the pulse module from superbrightleds.com and the light strip from Banggood.com. I have made literally at least a dozen orders from that Chinese vendor and it takes under 3.5 weeks and have ALWAYS received what I ordered. You just have to be PATIENT. I have made at least a dozen orders in the last year and have never been stiffed. you can buy this light module from PepBoys or other FLAPS but you will pay triple what it costs from Bangood. My motto is find cheapest to the do the job. I have ordered LED bulbs for the entire car from all China vendors, as long as you have the patience to wait. I figure I drive the car so seldom anyway, I can wait for the light module, which BTW, can be had in multiple lengths. the pulse module is a domestic vendor (but I know its China made) and its free shipping as well. All told, if you can wait, you can get an effective 3rd brake light system for under $10. A decent lunch costs more than that !! IT does the job, after all, if you never get rear ended, its done its job. A third lite is better than none at all. Oh, actually, they do sell bedroom suprises for the ladies.

Nice work and yes I am just as paranoid adding a high intensity strobing stop light from a motorcycle lighting company (4 pulses and then goes solid). I took a little different tack and mounted it under the top edge of the roll bar.

Great job and paranoia works since I mounted the same in my 82 SC

I really like that location for the light ...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Here is what I did to mine. I used a similar flasher. It had 2 wires in and 2 wires out. I think the one I bought was designed for a motorcycle.

My light took about 2 1/2 weeks; came in a bubble pack bag that would cost me $4 at Staple. Amazed they can design, build, pack and ship this across the world for less than a pound of peanuts.

I bought the 24 LED version; they had a 32 version too

The 3rd brake lights from a Corvette 1986 to 1990 work nicely as well.

I'd love to hear the details of your setup, I wont do the flashing thing as that would fail my MOT over here but the long strip and strips in the rear lights look amazing.

Well, I'll be amazed if this purchase goes through, but I just ordered this light from BangGood.com for $2.99 and no shipping charge. I'll let you (this thread) know if/when I get it. Paid with PayPal.

I have bought RC Helicopters from BangGood.
You will get the product, but it could take a month or more to reach you.

Where did you get the long strip?

I bought 48" Flexible PVC LED lights on Ebay. They came from Hong Kong, which took about 1 1/2 weeks to get. They can be cut at every third light to shorten the length.

I bought flexible pvc led lights on ebay. They came from Hong Kong, which took about 1 1/2 weeks to get. What I did I bought two spare tail light assemblies and took out the insides to mount plexi glass to attach the pcv flexible led lights to. The led lights come in different colors. I used red and white. I guess I should have used orange for the turn signal instead of red.
