Is there supposed to be a retainer for the front hood release handle? There is a oval nipple near where the cable screws into the pull handle it is tapped M4x.7. Is this to bolt a piece onto the narrow bit so it does not turn in the slot or a keeper for the cable? Ill add some pictures when I get home.
Thanks Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |

Tried to fix the edge of the targa top. It will probably fall off, but it's ok for now.
Through years of storage and moving one of the corners of the top got chipped off. First I made a form out of aluminum. Attached image(s) ![]() |

Very nice. I like our cars with the sail panels and roof bar in vinyl. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Not too much progress lately. Recovering from minor knee surgery.
Question: The door switch appears to work by braking a circuit when the door is closed. ![]() I can't get continuity across the pins or to the housing. Is there a way to take the switch apart? Are my assumptions correct? |

Not much progress, been down with knee surgery. Got the wheels and bumpers dropped off at the sand blasters and attached some trim.

A little more progress.
Installed the 914rubber triangle glass rubber and both sets seem a little short to me. The horizontal has to be trimmed, but the vertical seems short. ![]() Is this right? I have two sets one very old set and one newer both seem short to me. |

Are my assumptions correct? With door open closed switch closes a circuit to ground, try a bronze wire brush on the contact area should work if the spring force is not too weak. |
