Maybe if it's a car issue. We can dbl up drivers on cars? I wouldn't mind doing a co-driver thing with mine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I think everyone who can should make this event. When it was in Arizona, it always seemed to involve Flagstaff; I lived there so I would go meet the people wherever they were staying. Had a lot of fun and the group AWESOME! DO attend and venue being planned seems to be another great one.

Cannot make it this time since my 914 is down and out from the theft we had in Barstow while moving to Oregon.

Okay people we show 12 people attending. Looking at the list it seems they all have 914's. So how about track time. Wouldn't you enjoy geting out on the autoX track. Just for fun. I could care less who is faster than who. It's just fun to get out on the track & see if you can improve your own time. It's a blast & unless your insane your not going to break anything on your car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) . Just DO IT (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) . We need 10 people to step up so we can get the track. At $50 each it is a cheap to have the track for 3 hours. For that matter if we are short a few people. Can we just each pay a little more to do it Mike? We are talking $500 for the track for 3 hours. If there were only 5 of us that's $100 each. I'd certainly prefer to spend a little less than that. So let's get at least closer to 10 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I will call the track and see. It has been a couple of weeks since I spoke with them. The time may be booked.

Damn. Oh well would have been a tough one to get there by noon. I won't be as pushed for time this way. I would have gladly foregone some sleep to make it though. Still wish it was 3weeks sooner. I'm ready to roll out of town & be away from work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .

I'd love to be on the track, but it just cannot happen this year. Excuses are like assholes, I know, everyone's got one and they all stink, but in this case mine stinks more than … well, TMI. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I'll shut up now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Skipping the track? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) You mean like drifting on sticky tires where the car kind of skips going around the sweeping turns?

Much like that, yes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Only we'll have to do it on the open road. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

I called but didn't get an answer. Maybe a busy time there. I haven't seen above freezing since I went to Seattle at Christmas, so I am ready. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

Now! I need suggested spare parts. I have a ton of extras and I do not want to bring them all. But, what should I have?? Need to take a break from the -6 build anyway and start planning. Trying to decide whether I will be able to hear the radio or not. If I head down the Mississippi it will have to be Uncle Tupelo for a day or so...then maybe the AM band. In that case I really should attach the rear window so I can hear anything at all.

I will try calling again.

Travelling south with my MPS adjuster in hand, and an eye on the temp... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Again. 4 degrees below zero. I booked the room!!
