Just when I was thinking we were starting to make headway it snowed here again today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

The tarp shed to the right in the first photo is where Sandy's car is stored. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Here's three days ago when I finally dig my BMW out of the snow.

Hi Jason,

It will have to be the red one - the Willow car is in the same state as when you last saw it but it is my project this year. There is talk among my 914World friends that they are planning an intervention (spelled weekend build) to get the car done. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I am trying to get some locals to make the trip - though a few of them might be tail draggers. I know you wouldn't mind!

Rick, should I start by driving north with the padded carharts and a shovel? I have a former grad student up there now on faculty who is young and strong. Should I call in a marker?(actually my tab is in the red in that arena, but he would still do it).

Man glad I've had my teener out driving this week. Took it to work today. Stopped for gas on the way home & it wouldn't start. MY ignition has been squarely. Replaced the switch twice with no change. I can turn the key & it will turn over no problem bt not start. If I wiggle the key a little while turning. Some of my gauges get a pulse & all it fires & runs. After My key side of the ignition was a little sloppy. After getting gas my key didn't turn as well. I've replaced everything but the key side of things. So glad I had this happen 30min from home. Instead of mid trip. I've got a complete column out of a 73 to replace it. Going to look into new options too. If anyone has one they recommend shoot me a PM

I was watching the weather forecast for Albuquerque this morning (we don't have a TV station in Durango) and it looks great for the event.

70 degrees everyday and no rain in the forecast...

Strange that it turns over... Maybe in the START position, the starter is obviously getting power but not getting the 'ON' position power. I wouldn't think the tumbler would matter, unless the nub on the end that turns the switch is faulty or twisted or something.. Seems once the starter is turning, the power should be on to the rest of the car. But I don't know squat (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
