There seems to be enough interest to put another one of these together.
You would be looking at a high quality vinyl that would be stitched on the edges. I know the OEM was thermally bonded, but the cost to set up and do that would double the cost at less that 100 sets. So, they're not exactly like OEM, but they will have the mirror sewn in like the OEM. I will also make new visor clips available if you wish for $50 a set of all 3. These are the ones with the stainless pins. This will be only to those that are in on the visor refurb deal. Just chime in on the thread here to get yourself on the list. As soon as it looks like we've got the 20 sets, I'll send the details. The price for vinyl is $104 with your cores. Please send stripped as shown or there is an additional $10 in cost (any it costs you more to ship). This price is + shipping back at cost. Figure about $10 domestic give or take a few bucks. Mark, I don't see where you responded to the up side down mirror flap issue. Andys We do have a clearance issue that would require moving the position of the mirror up to accommodate. We will be producing all visors as shown with the exception of the one that has been specified. As it gets more difficult with more options, and more opportunity to have problems any further requests for the flap on the opposite side will cost the same price as these were when we did the last group buy. $125 per set. |

Mark, In an ealier post, you responded "I'll check with my guy to see if there are any clearance issues, but I don't see it as a problem." So your guy says there's a clearance issue, and you will not offer the mirror flap oriented in the correct (factory) orientation in this group buy? Just want to be sure I understand correctly. Also, does the "naked" version cost less? Thanks, Andys |

We can move the mirror up slightly to make the flap on the opposite side as requested, it just costs us more to have more options. It has to do with the way we make them. These are not idential to factory, but are a good alternative. No the naked does not cost less, as we are giving you the buy at the price of the naked ones on the old GB. On the last GBthe majority of the guys want them with all the options, so we set up to make them in mass at the lower price. We have made all the parts, the question is do you want them attached to yours? Were just trying to get you a good product at the best possible price for the majority. |
