Okay guys.... Be expecting an email from the Mad Scientist today and get your check books warmed up. I have to make a final call to the manufacturer and lock the price in, then we'll see how many people actually follow through and send me a check.

Anthony,
I won't give in ! Maybe I'm just trying to break the record for the most $$$ spent on 2056cc motor. The only thing I'm missing is a set of nickies $$$$ (that would be the icing on the cake) , but I do have the 96mm biral barrels (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I saw a message from him on the STF boards saying that he was extending the deadline another week. I hope we have all of the potential buyers lined up. It looks like they are helping out the cause all the way from Europe as well......Don't you just love the Type 4 global econemy (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I made the big call on Friday... Got the prices locked in.. BUT the price didn't include rod bolts (I thought it did)

I have to call ARP tomorrow and get pricesw for those and then I can send out all the emails.

Get the check books ready, because I should be asking for checks this week!

The price will change a bit, but buying this many ARP bolts at a time will help with that... I also plan on stocking up on my other stock upgraded bolts at the same time, that should help even further.

We should have a sample rod in a month, then as long as it measures up okay we'll have the finished product 60 days after that, then I still have to balance them.

All emails are sent!

The instructions are very clear!

I have to receive the payment for all 50 sets by March 1, couple that with my funds and pay the Mfr to get this rolling.

If all 50 are not paid for I will return the undeposited checks and money orders to the customers and the deal will have to wait another 18 months.

Make it happen- My address is in the email!

i got mine and asked for the invoice notification. hope it will be via email. don't sit on your hands on this one folks or we'll be hosed. will the slight bump in cost include shipping? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) it's gonna suck if only 48 people come through.

ablose, I sent your email at 0245 this morning...

If 48 people come through I will buy the two extra sets myself..

I went over the shipping in the email. The cost won't be trimmed any further, these rods are being sold at a 5% profit in the buy and thats not counting the fact that I have to pay for them to be shipped all over the country to be finished....

Have you guys sent Jake a check for the New 2.0L rods ???

If he does not get the money soon this deal will be gone. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)

If you have ever priced a set of Carrillo or Pauter rods for your 914 then you know that this is a steal !

If you ever plan to build a stock 2.0 engine for driving or competition then you should get a set of these rods, we will probably never see a price like this for a set of custom H beam rods that are half the wieght of the stock rod.

It's not too late to send Jake $310.00 for a set of these NEW 2.0L rods....... SEE INFO BELOW:

Please send all funds in the form of check or money order to

Raby Enterprises Inc.
Attn R&D
47 Raby Drive
Cleveland GA 30528

Make checks payable to Raby Enterprises Inc.

Remember that I MUST have all 50 sets of rods sold by March 1
