I really look forward for your posts Paul. That looks most cool. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif)

I'm picturing it with a V8 and 12" slicks...

Look for a wing from some of the dirt sprint car guys. They always have some huge wings that you could use.

Paul,

When you go to an autocross at Zephyrhills with your 914 and get FTD, I will have nothing but respect for what you've done with your car. I do find it amazing what you have been able to do with your car.

BTW, Suncoast Region PCA is working hard at getting our site at MacDill AFB back for our autocross track. It's probably not going to happen real soon but it is a good possibility it could happen sometime in the future.

I'll get FTD when Danny Shields desides not to run. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

And as far as MacDill, it is the best site in the state, no question. 100 arces of 60 year old concrete. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

The current motor is a very tired 1.7 with a NPR slip in big bore kit, big bore heads, 44 Webers, Engle cam, counterweighted crank. I figure is making about 110 HP because compression is down due to all the miles I have on it.

The MASSIVE motor was dyno'd at 180hp. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/w00t.gif)

If I was to do it again, I wouldn't. Didn't really cost a lot but just too much work. Hours and hours and hours. Don't get me wrong, I like it but I'm glad it is nearly done. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif)

I've got an autox this month and I won't have the targa bar done in f/g yet so I'll HAVE to run it naked. (I mean the car).

Hi Paul,

That is very cool! You are giving me some reinforcement and inspiration for my bad ideas. If that were mine, I would be figuring out how to make a very fat Ghia body fit it right now.

Thanks, John www.ghiaspecialties.com
